The Consulate General of Brazil in Sydney and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), in coordination with the Embassy of Brazil in Canberra, have launched a series of webinars organized to present the potential opportunities for cooperation in technology-intensive sectors such as ag-tech and fintech, to be held June 16 to 18.

This week the ABCC is involved in two important events on either side of the country. In Sydney on Wednesday 19/5 the Chamber is supporting a business luncheon with the Hon. Josh Frydenberg MP, Treasurer of Australia. Then on Thursday 20/5 the first Perth Mix@Six networking night for 2021 will feature a resources industry focus, with several prominent attendees from the sector already confirmed. The ABCC is pleased to assist with the promotion of the Brasil Investment Forum 2021 (BIF). The Forum is an international event aimed at attracting foreign investments to Brazil. Organized by Apex-Brasil, the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) and the Brazilian Federal Government, the BIF will be held online on May 31 and June 1st, 2021 and is known as the largest event for foreign investment in Latin America.
